CUT OFF TIMES:
To guarantee a smooth course of events – not only for participants but also for residents and traffic – under guidelines of public authorities the organization has to set an adequate time limit for every participant. The addition of swim and bike split is mandatory to accomplish due to organizational reasons. Else wise the time limits are guideline values. For the swim, bike and run following time limits will be applied. If a competitor exceeds the time limit, he must not continue the race. Also, those competitors who need more than the total time limit, won’t be ranked.

Swimming:
• swim VD 500m = 45min
• swim OD 1500m = 650min
• swim MD 2000m = 75min

Cycling (only for MD athletes):
• cycling MD 80km = 180min

Swimming + Cycling (only for MD athletes):
• swim + T1 + cycling MD = 255min

Running (only for MD athletes):

• run MD 20km = 130min

PARATRIATHLON

GEHÖRLOSENTRIATHLON(auf Volks-, Kurz-, und Mitteldistanz):

STAFFEL VOLKS- (AUCH SONDERWERTUNG), KURZ- UND MITTELDISTANZ:
Sprint, Olympic and Half-Distance races can be completed in a relay team. Each relay team consists of a swimmer, a cyclist, a runner. It is possible to race as a two-person team, if one swims/runs and one cycles. Female and male teams won’t be differentiated. Every team will be judged as mixed team. A team might consist of disabled and non-disabled athletes. The fastest team will win the relay division.

ADDITIONAL RACE CLASSES :

Family relay Sprint Distance oder Mixed Team Relay:
The family relay may be composed as follows: The family includes man / woman, mother / father, children, (step) siblings, grandma / grandfather. Uncle / aunt and cousin. Only athletes born 2003 or older may take part.

Mixed Team Relay Corporate Team 
Member of a Corporate Mixed Relay Team may be any employee of the company. Only athletes born 2003 and older may take part.

Mixed Team Relay Club Team 
Member of a Club Mixed Relay Team may be any member of the same club. Only athletes born 2003 and older may take part.

District Championship Olympic Distance
Athletes will automatically take part in the District Championship of Landkreis Traunstein when signing up with the specified postal code during registration. Only those who have entered the postal code will be counted in the district ranking. Only athletes born 2001 and older may take part.

German Championship Paratriathlon Olympic Distance:
The German Championship Paratriathlon will be held over the short distance. A classification within the German Championship Paratriathlon short distance is only possible for athletes with a valid DTU start pass and classification of the DTU. Minimum age 2001.

AGE GROUP DIVISIONS:
Age group divisions are made in accordance with the applicable DTU regulations.

Applications will be accepted after receipt of the complete entry fee.
A license of the day for those who haven’t got a license is 16 Euro at the Olympic distance and 20 Euro at the Half distance (not for relay teams). In case of a fee change by the DTU, the additional amount will be recalculated and collected at the start document collection.
The fee for the timing-chip is 4 Euro.
Late registration fee (if the application limit isn’t reached yet) is 20 Euro.

Registrations changes of any kind to existing registrations will be charged with 7,50 Euro.

The licence holder may only race for the club indicated on the licence. If a day license is purchased (without presentation of the start pass) he may also race for another club. For further information on the procedure please see the DTU sports regulations, section “start right”.

WITHDRAWAL:

Withdrawal is only possible if a cancellation insurance / finisher protection has been procured at application (see General Terms and Conditions Act).

If an athlete decides to withdraw from racing after he has picked up his race numbers and timing chip, timing chip needs to be handed to a race marshal, the organizer or the timing service without special request. If non-fulfillment causes a search for the athlete at the water or ashore, the person responsible has to bear the costs.

RULES & REGULATIONS

WRISTBAND:
The wristband issued by the organizer is to be put on immediately by all participants single and all two / three relay participants after receipt of the starter documents. The wristband must not be altered and is not transferable. It entitles the participant to the race the EBERL Chiemsee Triathlon and access the race course and facilities such as catering, massage, shower and pasta party. Without a wristband, no start at the EBERL Chiemsee Triathlon.

SWIM WARMUP:
Swim warm-up is only allowed in the specially marked area and must be finished 10 Minutes before the start.

SWIM:
Wetsuits can be worn according to DTU regulations. Swimming caps issued by the organizer must be worn.
Only athletes with a wristband (provided by the organization) may enter the starting area. Unauthorized persons may not enter the pre-start-area at the lido Chieming.
As soon as an athlete has passed the timing mat he is recorded as a participant. If the participant decides to withdraw from racing after passing the timing mat, timing chip needs to be handed to a race marshal, the organizer or the timing service without special request. If non-fulfillment causes a search for the athlete at water or ashore, the person responsible has to bear the costs.

BIKE:
The bike course is blocked for cars. The road traffic regulations have to be followed nevertheless at any time!
Each competitor must wear a cycling helmet with a closed chinstrap. The design of the helmet must correspond to the standards of an established test institute and the helmet must not be damaged. The chinstrap must be closed as soon as the participant takes his bike and must not be opened until the bike is back in the bike rack.
Drafting and constant parallel cycling are prohibited and liable to disqualification. A minimum distance of 10 m must be kept to the cyclist in front, 1,5m to the side.

The Bib number has to be on your back during cycling and on your front during running. You must not wear your BIB number during swimming. It has to stay in the Transition Zone.

TRANSITION:
Aus Gründen des Umweltschutzes bitten wir alle Teilnehmer, die Beutel für die Wechselzone (sofern diese nicht vom Ausrichter gestellt werden) sowie Sicherheitsnadeln selber mitzubringen.

Swim/bike
The changing takes place in the transition zone. The bike must be pushed in the transition area until the marked bike mount. The chin strap of the helmet must be closed before picking up the bike – disregard may cause disqualification. The second time registration will be after the bike mount.

Bike/run
T2 will be at the same place as T1. Speed must be reduced while approaching T2 due to safety reasons. Dismount at the dismount mark and push your bike back to your place. The chin strap of the helmet must be closed until the bike is back in the rack. The third time registration will be at beginning of the run course.

TEAM RELAY: 

The starting athlete has to be in the pre-start area at Strandbad Chieming in time. After the starting signal, he swims around the buoy to his right to the swim exit. The rest of his race he completes like a normal triathlon under consideration of the general rules. While the first athlete is on the course, the following athletes are getting ready for the handover. Only the following athlete may be in the transfer area. The handover is done by passing on the timing chip to the following athlete. He/ she now runs to the jetty and begins his triathlon by jumping from the jetty. Please note fellow participants and make sure that the water under the jetty is clear before the jump! Athlete 2 also completes his triathlon and passes the timing chip to athlete 3 after the run. While athlete 3 races, the finished team members go towards the finish line area. Shortly before the finish line, you’ll find the possibility to wait for the final athlete and to celebrate a joint finish. The finishing time is the time between the start of the first athlete and the finish of the third athlete.

LITTERING:
We remind athletes that it is forbidden to throw bottles, bar- and gel packages etc. onto the street or into the street ditch. Disposal is only permitted in designated littering zones at the aid stations. Disregard leads to disqualification.

PENALTY:

Saturday races:
1min added to the finishing time

Olympic Distance:
2min added to the finishing time

Half Distance:
5min at the penalty box which is located at the T2.

Other penalties (yellow card)

10s (VD), 15s (KD), 30s (MD) time penalty

Time penalties are added to the finishing time except for the Half distance. Half distance athletes have to pass the time in the penalty box at T2. The Penalty Box has to be attended without further notice, otherwise, you’ll be disqualified.

Repeated neglect of rules may cause disqualification.

Competitors must not be accompanied by non-competing persons at any time of the race.

CHECK-IN:
All participants must check in on Saturday, June 29th 2019. There is no possibility to check in on Sunday! The bike and helmet must be in the transition area overnight for Sunday races. No bike covers allowed due to safety reasons. Access to the transition zone is possible on Sunday morning from 7.00 am.

CHECK-OUT:
Bikes, run bags and swim bags will be returned after the race when the owner shows his starting number and timing chip. Check-out won’t begin until the last participant has left T2. Bikes will be watched over for 1 hour after the last finisher passed finish line.

TIMING CHIP:
Transponder system: www.abavent.de
Every competitor must wear a transponder. The transponder must be worn at the ankle, otherwise, correct registration of times is not warranted. Every athlete is responsible for a correct registration of times himself.
This rule also applies for relays. The chip must be passed on like a baton.
The fee for the transponder is 4,00 Euro. This fee has to be paid together with the entry fee. The transponder must be returned after finish (latest 1 hour after the last finisher).
Transponders, which have not been returned, will be invoiced by the organization (60 Euro).

SIZE CHART PUMA HOODY

To ensure that you get a fitting DAS RENNEN-Hoody, we ask you to pay attention to the size chart when registering. ATTENTION: THE HOODYS IS QUITE BIG!
Changing sizes on during the pick-up is not possible!

Tax at source will be withheld from foreign pro athletes according to regulations. Prize money will be paid as soon as the results of doping control show negative results.

DISCLAIMER

The organizer, the Wechselszene Sven Hindl GmbH and neighbouring communities are not liable for accidents, thefts or other damages. The participant assures that he makes no legal claims and demands on the organizer, the host, the affected communities and the Free State of Bavaria. In case of force majeure or failure of the competition, no recourse claims are possible. He agrees to comply with the Highway Code. A normal state of health and fitness (medical confirmation is available to the participant) and additional insurance is required.
The event is based on the competition regulations of the German Triathlon Union (sports regulations, elite regulations, organizers and organizers regulations, federal league regulations, anti-doping code, referee regulations) as well as the legal and procedural regulations and the disciplinary regulations. By registering, the participant accepts the competition requirements and the legal and procedural regulations as binding.
I assure you that I will not take any doping products (see also information from NADA at www.nada-bonn.de).
Athletes who are convicted before, during or after the CST of the doping will receive a lifelong ban on the planned and executed competitions of the changing scene Sven Hindl GmbH.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Conditions of Participation for Wechselszene Sven Hindl GmbH Events

§ 1 Scope / General Regulations
The following conditions of participation regulate the legal relationship between the participant and the organizer. By registering, the participant accepts the competition regulations as well as the sports regulations of the organizer and the sports regulations of the German Triathlon Union in their respective valid version.
Their adherence and recognition is a prerequisite for participation in the event.

§ 2 Competition Rules
The event is based on the competition requirements of the DTU (sports regulations, elitepass, organizer and organizer regulations, referee regulations) as well as the legal and procedural regulations and the disciplinary regulations. By registering, the participant accepts the competition requirements and the conditions of the organizer as binding according to the invitation to tender.
For adolescents under the age of 18, a declaration of consent signed by the parents (see section B.3 of the DTU Sports Regulations) is required. It can be downloaded from the DTU website.

§ 3 Obligations of the participant
The instructions and specifications of the organizer and the instructions of the auxiliary staff must be obeyed. In the case of infringements which may disturb the proper conduct of the event or jeopardize the safety of the participants, the organizer is entitled to exclude the participant concerned at any time.
Participation is at your own risk. The participant declares bindingly that there are no health concerns against his participation. The participant declares that he is physically fit, sufficiently trained for this competition and that the suitability of participation has been certified by a doctor. The participant must ensure proper equipment. While cycling, wear a helmet that complies with DTU regulations. The participant is aware that participation in the event is dangerous and that the risk of serious danger is not excluded.
The participant hereby agrees to receive medical treatment during the competition at his own expense, should this be advisable in the event of injury in the event of an accident and/or illness during the course of the race. Furthermore, the participant agrees that he/she can be taken out of the race at any time by emergency services if signs of concern to health are discernible. If medical treatment of the participant is required during the event, the participant agrees to this in advance. It is expressly stated that medical services are not included in the entry fee and will be charged directly to the participant according to the usual medical rates. It is the participant’s responsibility to have sufficient insurance cover for medical treatment. A liability of the organizer for this is excluded.

§ 4 Registration
The registration takes place exclusively via an online registration portal on the Internet. Eligibility will only be granted if the organization fee has been fully credited to the organizer’s account and the organizer has confirmed the registration. The organizer reserves the right to start the participant.
The payment of the organization fee is made by direct debit or credit card payment. The costs are borne by the participant. Incorrect information and resulting administration fees shall be borne by the participant.
After the online registration process, the participant will receive his confirmation e-mail. The registration confirmation must be brought to pick up the starting documents at the start number issue.
Participation is a personal right and not transferable. The start number may not be transferred to a third party. In case of violation disqualification occurs. The starting documents must be picked up personally by the participant. If a registered participant does not arrive after picking up the starting documents and does not contact the organizer, competition judge or timekeeping company, the result is a search operation by security or rescue forces on land and water. The registered participant bears the costs of the search operation to the full extent, A deregistration to the registered event in the time of the announcement until the collection of the starting documents is only possible with a completed cancellation insurance (at the timekeeping company).

§ 5 race credentials
A handover of the race credentials is only on presentation of the online registration confirmation. If a participant is prevented from picking up his starting documents personally, he must ensure that the race credentials are collected by a person expressly authorized by him in writing. It is not possible to send the race credentials.
At the registration, a licence of a national triathlon federation is to be presented from participants of the Olympic distance as well as participants of the Half Distance or to purchase a day license. This is not necessary at the Sprint Distance or Team Relay.
The start number may not be transferred to a third party. In case of violation disqualification occurs. A disqualification also occurs if the official start number changed in any way, in particular the advertising print is made invisible or unrecognizable.

§ 6 Failure / change of the event
The organizer may change the event, start or cancel it after a delay, if in his opinion the conditions on race day are uncertain. If changes to the event have to be made due to official orders, force majeure or for security reasons or if the event has to be canceled, the participant is not entitled to a refund of the entry fee.
There is also no right to compensation for other damages, such. B. Travel and accommodation costs.

§ 7 Disclaimer
Participation is at your own risk.
The liability of the organizer and / or its vicarious agents is limited to intent and gross negligence, even to third parties. Excluded from the limitation of liability are personal injury (damage to life, body or health of a person). The limitation of liability extends to the liability of employees, representatives, vicarious agents and third parties, of which the organizer uses in connection with the execution of the event or with whom he is contractually bound for this purpose.
The organizer assumes, as already stated under § 4, no liability for health risks of the participant in connection with participation in the event.
The participant is solely responsible for his personal valuables and the competition equipment (also bicycle and neoprene etc.). The organizer assumes no liability for lost clothing and equipment of the participant. These should, therefore, be adequately insured. The organizer expressly assumes no liability for himself or third parties commissioned by him for the participants free of charge kept objects. The liability of the organizer for gross selection negligence remains unaffected.
The participant is aware that on the competition track to vehicle and pedestrian traffic can come and he carries the resulting risks. It is the duty of the participant to become familiar with the competition tracks and the transition zones. By participating, the participant accepts the routes/transition zones as they are. The participant is aware that the following hazards exist: falls, danger of collision with vehicles, pedestrians, other participants and stationary objects; Dangers that result from dangerous surfaces, material failure and inadequate safety equipment as well as hazards caused by spectators, volunteers or even the weather. The participant is advised that the list above is not exhaustive.
Participants are aware of the dangers of using alcohol, medication and drugs before, during and after the event, which may impair their ability to judge their athletic ability. The participant is solely responsible for any consequences resulting from the intake of alcohol, drugs and medications.

§ 8 doping
By registering, the participant explicitly acknowledges that the NADA’s doping regulations and the information on the doping program are valid. The blood limits of the National Association of the DTU are also valid. If the blood limit values are exceeded or in case of a violation of the doping regulations, the organizer is entitled to pronounce a start ban against the participant or to disqualify him. For these cases, a claim to the entry fee, prize money or other claims and subsequent claims is excluded.

§ 9 Awards
Each participant of the Wechselzene Events receives a certificate and lists of results for download via the website – www.chiemsee-triathlon.com
The first to third-placed overall winners receive cash prizes (only with current profile license) or prizes.
Amount of money will be paid only upon presentation of the valid profile license. This is to be presented at the bib pickup. With foreign starters, the withholding tax will be withheld according to the income tax regulations. Prize money will only be paid out when the official results of the doping controls are available. In the case of German top ten athletes, the prize money will only be paid out if the athlete in question has a professional license and can present it until the starting documents have been picked up.
The first to third-placed age category winners receive prizes.
